WHAT OUR MEMBERS SAY
What is unique about Shoreline Village CT are the PEOPLE – its volunteers who provide services.
When you get a ride from a SVCT volunteer, you are greeted by a friendly face who doesn’t simply drop you off at a doctor’s office, that person stays with you and takes you home as soon as you are ready so you don’t have to wait for a driver to come back.

It wasn’t until I connected with the newly formed Shoreline Village CT, that felt that I belonged.
The Village is an insurance policy for my family and it gives me a structure for being with interesting, thoughtful people and for opportunities for meaningful volunteer work. The Village helps me stay out of my comfort zone and into one that is dynamic and fun.

Good luck never featured high in my life before the Shoreline Village.
It’s initiation coincided with my decision to stop driving. Of course, I thought normal life was over. Instead, I found new friends, new activities and new friends. I have been a believer in ‘it’s better to give than to receive’. However, if all the volunteers can appreciate how very thankful the receivers are, it will be a very happy Village.
