Please join Assistant professor, Stephanie Venturino, Ph.D. presents: Carmen by Georges Bizet.
Stephanie Venturino is an assistant professor of analysis and musicianship at the Yale School of Music. She holds a Ph.D. in music theory and a B.M. in saxophone performance from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. Her research focuses on twentieth- and twenty-first-century French music, the history of music theory, and music theory and aural skills pedagogy. She regularly presents her work at regional, national, and international conferences. Stephanie has contributed scholarship to the music theory journal Theoria, as well as to edited collections from Cambridge University Press and Routledge.
