About this event
SVCT now offers members a traditional yoga class (in addition to our Chair Yoga). This
practice includes movements on the floor as well as standing postures that
scientific studies have shown improve flexibility, strength, balance, stress relief,
and overall quality of life. Ours is a gentle class for seniors with lots of warmups,
balancing and asanas (postures) that will help you move more freely and feel
refreshed.
Maryann is a certified Kripalu yoga teacher with more than twenty years teaching
experience, who has studied many different schools of yoga in this country and in
England.
