Hammonasset Beach Stroll to the Sound . Take a break, breathe in the fresh salt air, and join fellow Villagers for a leisurely one-hour stroll to beautiful Hammonasset Beach. We‘ll enjoy easy conversation, laughter, and the simple pleasure of walking together at a relaxed pace. We will have a relaxed, rear guard, so nobody will be rushed. This not a "trail hike." This is a stroll to the sea. Anyone is welcome to rush ahead as long as we are all accounted for at 12:15 PM, back at the parking lot. As we make our way toward the waater, we‘ll be rewarded with sweeping views of sea, sand, and sky, a perfect reminder of the natural beauty that surrounds us here on the Shoreline. Whether you‘re catching up with old friends or meeting new ones, this outing is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy good company and a refreshing dose of coastal serenity.
