Tea and Talk is one of our loveliest events. Its purpose is to facilitate a mild, stimulating, friendly conversation with our Shoreline Village CT members. Let’s meet at the Parthenon Diner, bring a friend or two, and enjoy the informal gathering.
One Month an MD made a connection with two Mothers whose daughters were MDs.
This time, we could reminisce about childhood best friends or what we did for fun when we were younger.
Wisdom‘s delayed appearance is always an enlightening topic......
Can‘t WAIT for a warming cup of hot chocolate. The Parthenon Diner Restaurant also boasts a diverse menu with options like French toast, corned beef hash, and vegetarian dishes such as the Greek dish with stuffed grape leaves and tzatziki sauce. I have it on good authority that the pumpkin pancakes are delicious!

Directed by Barlett Sher and based on Michael Chabon’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, this highly anticipated world premiere opened the Met‘s 2025-26 season to sold-out audiences and critical acclaim. The production will be broadcast to theaters nationwide on Saturday, January 24.
Hailed by The New York Times as “a vivid, fearless presence” and the Los Angeles Times as “an extraordinary, vibrant mezzo,” Adriana Zabala has performed more than 55 operatic roles in the U.S. and abroad, including the creation of roles in seven American operas such as Sister Carrie, The Trial of Susan B. Anthony, and Doubt (PBS Great Performances). Her appearances include Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and collaborations with leading orchestras and ensembles nationwide. A Fulbright Scholar and Distinguished Vocal Artist of the American Prize, she records for Naxos, Bridge, and New Focus, and is Associate Professor of Music at Yale University, co-founder of the Yale Song Lab, and Assistant Dean of Collaborative Arts—the first woman to hold a leadership role in the Yale School of Music’s history.
