Step back in time on a midsummer afternoon and enjoy two of Guilford’s enduring treasures. Join fellow Villagers and friends for a visit to the historic Henry Whitfield Museum, where Connecticut’s oldest stone house offers a glimpse into life nearly four centuries ago. The museum closes at 4:00 PM, so plan to arrive around 3:30 for a leisurely look around. Afterwards, we‘ll stroll—or take a short drive—just one-third of a mile to the Guilford Fairgrounds and its lively Farmers Market. There, we‘ll gather around picnic tables, enjoy the company of friends old and new, browse local offerings, and share whatever treats tempt us. Come for the history, stay for the fellowship, and savor a delightful midsummer afternoon together.
