The selection for this month is Birnam Wood by Eleonor Catton.
A gripping psychological thriller from the Booker Prize-winning author of The Luminaries, Birnam Wood is Shakespearean in its wit, drama, and immersion in character. A brilliantly constructed consideration of intentions, actions, and consequences, it is an unflinching examination of the human impulse to ensure our own survival.
To join the discussion, email Maryann Bracken at mabfilkins@gmail.com for the Zoom link.

We invite you to get together for a walk of discovery through the town of Branford‘s historical past. Branford was settled in 1644, yes, that long ago! 380 years have elapsed but Branford has kept its true New England character. We love our town!

The guided tour will start at Harrison House Museum and the walk will continue past the five oldest buildings on the Green.

Further details will be provided as the event gets closer. Please register for this event by calling 203-747-5939 or emailing your reservation to info@shorelinevillagect.org by the end of the day on Sept 25th.

In case of bad weather the walk will be rescheduled to October.
