Join us for a lively discussion of "A Calamity of Souls" by David Baldacci. Set in 1968 Virginia, this gripping legal thriller follows white lawyer Jack Lee and Black attorney Desiree Du Bois as they defend Jerome Washington, a Vietnam veteran accused of murdering a wealthy white couple. The story powerfully confronts racial injustice, corruption, and courage in a deeply divided America. Enjoy thoughtful conversation and great company!
