Meet at the Shoreline Greenway Trail Eastern Trailhead Parking Lot Address: U.S. Rte 1, Madison, CT 06443 Hammonasset Beach Walk along the Shoreline Greenway Trail Section. This section is a mile-long path winding through Hammonasset Beach State Park to Webster Point Rd., traversing an undeveloped peninsula of the park through a coastal upland forest with spectacular views of Long Island Sound and its salt marshes; it’s a popular place for bird watching and en plein air painting. Benches are installed in scenic locations for rest and contemplation.
