Zoom Senior Chair Yoga Wed, June 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM Each class is at 10:00 in the morning and lasts 45 minutes. Yoga is particularly beneficial for stress management. Each movement focuses on exercising and stretching the limbs, releasing endorphins to reduce stress, and ensuring you focus on the breath. Mindfulness in yoga comes from focusing on the passage of breath throughout the body and following through with the movement of each pose. Concentrating on your breath can relieve the stress and anxieties of managing your senior life. If this is your first Shoreline Village Chair Yoga class, please text (203)-747-5939 with your name and email as soon as possible so we can send you a Zoom link. In Addition to the Outdooor Audio Stroll , the Dawnlands Museum will also be opened especially for the SVCT group visit. The Quinnipiac Dawnland Museum brings visitors on a journey through 14,000 year of Indigenous life through the display and of use of artifacts donated to the Dudley Farm by long-time Farm member Gordon Brainerd. They help to explain why Indigenous people successfully adapted to tremendous environmental and climate changes over all those years. Contemporary work by Indigenous artists, poets, and writers bring to life Indigenous belief systems and lifeways prior to the arrival of Europeans beginning in the early 1600’s. There is no charge for any of the the above. Any rain Cancellation will be posted on the Events website at 8:30am the day of the event.
